Artist's Statement
"Surprises! Life is full of them. The places I’ve lived Philadelphia, New York, Alaska, Sierra Madre all add to my experiences. Then, the people I’ve worked with throughout my career – Lady Margaret Thatcher, President Carter, President Gorbachev and Colin Powell, among others.
Several years ago, another surprise, watercolors! There is magic in every tube of paint. The process of combining water and paint on paper is astonishing! I never know what is about to appear. Yes, indeed, yet another surprise. Watercolors are truly a party in a box.
