Artist's Statement
ANA Helena Berenguer was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She became a renowned actress in film, television, and theatre around the world, performing in productions in Milan, Barcelona, Paris, Tokyo, New York, and Los Angeles, where she now resides. She received an architecture degree from Santa Ursula University in Rio de Janeiro.
Ana Berenguer’s international travels and countless museum visits fuelled her passion for art, inspiring her vibrant and joyful expressions on canvas. While in Paris, she studied art at the Louvre and fell in love with the Impressionists. Ana Berenguer’s modern impressionist paintings reflect this love with vivid color, freedom, and joy - just like her joyful and outgoing personality. Her paintings are inspired by such locations as California, France, Italy, and Holland and are in collections throughout the world.
